Business Support to cover maternity leave from September 2016/October 2016 to end June 2017
The annual salary is £19,500.00 pro rata for 15 hours per week at a rate of £10.00 per hour.

We have an opportunity for a Business Support Assistant to cover maternity leave and provide a range of support to the organisation - administration and finance, IT and communication and the general day to day support for volunteers. The role will cover 15 hours a week across 3 days Monday-Thursday.
Working closely with (and supporting) staff, volunteers and adults with learning disabilities, you will be responsible for recording and reconciling subs and invoicing and preparing cheques; recording and reconciling petty cash transactions and liaising with the book-keeper. Updating beneficiary records, you will manage volunteer records and prepare rotas and coordinate volunteer and staff expenses whilst keeping appropriate financial records.
Maintaining and updating email contacts, spreadsheets and mailing lists, you will assist with the management of photographs, answer the telephone and update Social Media where required. You will also be responsible for recording annual leave, the coordination of volunteers and the delegation of appropriate tasks to volunteers.
There will be an expectation to work to deadlines and although not essential the ideal candidate will have some experience working with adults with learning disabilities or additional needs. With excellent communication skills and experience of working in a team and with volunteers, they will also be a positive, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with good IT skills and a good understanding of social media (Facebook and Twitter).
