SUSO (Speaking Up Speaking Out) is a user-led organisation for adults with learning disabilities and additional needs. We currently have a 2-year fixed term contract role with the opportunity for extension, for a self-motivated individual to join our team as Business Support and help our long-term continuity and development.

The role covers a range of responsibilities - administration and finance, IT and communication, and will cover 18 hours a week across 4 days Monday-Thursday.

Working closely with staff, volunteers and adults with learning disabilities, your responsibilities will include:
Daily financial transactions including subs, petty cash and banking
Invoicing and payments
Best value purchasing
Management of annual leave, beneficiary and volunteer records
Coordination of volunteer and staff expenses
Data and spreadsheet management
Managing the photo archive
Email management
Information updates including email, website and social media.

There will be an expectation to work to deadlines and although not essential the ideal candidate will have some experience working with adults with learning disabilities or additional needs. With excellent communication skills and experience of working in a team and with volunteers, they will also be a positive, enthusiastic individual able to work on their own initiative with excellent IT skills and a good understanding of social media, although some in house training will be provided.

The post holder will be the Trust Asset and Sustainability manager, responsible for all leases, licences, accommodation and all aspects of sustainability including energy, environmental and statutory information returns; responsible for managing the delivery of compliant high quality, safe, efficient and value for money services.

The post holder will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of an estate rationalisation process across the entire Trust portfolio spanning across the whole of Cheshire in over 60 locations.

The post holder will be responsible for all energy and environmental functions including all statutory information returns and obligations such as CRC, SDU, ERIC etc.

The post holder will hold a key senior managerial role within the Estates function with a budget in excess of £5.5m and will lead by example providing a professional, positive customer focused ethos and will strive to deliver high quality outcomes.
